Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information — when you sign in with Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and avatar image. We never see or store your passwords.
  • Your projects — prompts you write, generated site files, version snapshots, and project settings.
  • Usage data — basic product events (such as when a generation starts or a site is published) tied to your account, used to understand how the beta is being used.

2. Where your data lives

Your account data, projects, and prompts are stored in Cloudflare D1 (a database), and your generated site files are stored in Cloudflare R2 (object storage), both running on Cloudflare's global infrastructure.

3. AI processing

To generate your site, your prompts (and, for follow-up iterations, your existing project files) are sent to Google Gemini for processing. We do not send your name, email, or other account details along with generation requests.

4. Cookies

We use cookies solely to keep you signed in (session cookies). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party analytics scripts.

5. What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except the service providers described above (Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Google Gemini for AI generation) as required to operate the product.

6. Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data (projects, prompts, generated files, and sessions) at any time from the Settings page. You can also email hello@staticly.dev and we will delete your data for you.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves during the beta. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
