Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Staticly, you agree to these Terms of Service. Staticly is currently operated as an invite-only beta. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Staticly generates static websites (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) from natural-language descriptions using AI models. During the beta, the service is provided as-is, without any warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features, limits, and pricing may change while the service is in beta, and generated sites or stored data may occasionally be affected by breaking changes. We will do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
3. Your content and AI-generated output
You retain ownership of the prompts you write and the projects you create. To the extent we hold any rights in the AI-generated files produced for your projects, we assign them to you — the sites Staticly generates for you are yours to use, modify, publish, and distribute for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.
AI output can be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing it, including verifying that it does not infringe third-party rights, contain inaccuracies, or violate any applicable laws.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Staticly to:
- Generate or host content that is illegal, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others.
- Generate or distribute malware, phishing pages, or other harmful content.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other people, or generate hateful or discriminatory content.
- Circumvent rate limits, probe or disrupt the service, or access other users' data.
- Resell or provide automated access to the service without our permission.
5. Accounts and termination
You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a security risk — during the beta we may also need to remove access for operational reasons. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Settings page.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Staticly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from content generated by AI or published through the service.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Staticly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
